Excerpts from an Email .... UPDATE on This Life!
I have been dealing with a cramped back muscle since Sunday morning. It locked
up on me and is causing considerable pain but, I'm still functioning.
The apartment is wonderful. My view off my porch/patio?
Pine Trees, birds, feral kitties and a 'pond' of water with bull frogs! I can
also see The Main Road - busy but, I pretend the cars are waves crashing on the
shore
) When I close my patio door? NO SOUND. Except the occasional emergency
vehicle and the train whistle 2 or 3 times a day.All boxes have been emptied and the place is set up like
home. I have my table with 2 sewing machines standing ready!
) I've got every
inch of space storing something and decorated! I've used bookshelves and baskets
to hold my crafting supplies and there's a big closet/shed off the patio that is
holding bins of fabric and off season clothes. We have met nearly all of our neighbors. There are 8
apartments in each unit. The couple directly below us? Retired and home during
the day. They have two tiny dogs. The ladies down below and beside? Sisters,
with 2 greyhound dogs! They brought us a huge fruit basket Sunday to welcome us
to the area! There's a young couple who attend The Local University and another Lady
downstairs who had her entire family here for a cookout on Memorial Day! The
girl directly across? She works at - the Local Hospital. She
suggested I look online for positions and there are about 5 CNA1's right now.
In order to apply? I have to have a current CPR Cert. So
I called RedCross - explained how as much as I love the work they do I did not
have $45.00 to pay for the class? They said I could have a scholarship and
attend the class on June 7, 1 p.m. for FREE! So, I'm trying to get my back
better BEFORE then! (SUCCESS!!!!)
Today we're going to try to stop by the Farmers
Market. It's a Tuesday-Saturday market and we've heard it's only one farmer
right now. But, we're going for it!
) I'll also be trying to find the Red Cross. Everything is
within minutes of me. The mall is across the parking lot, all the grocery stores
are within blocks - Walmart AND Kmart are just on the other side of the Mall as
well as Lowes Home Improvement! My bank takes me 5 minutes to get to! The Hospital (where I hope to get a job?)
Just about 5 stoplights down!Emily decided to end her 3 month courtship and agrees he is just not the right man for her.
Saturday Em and Molly will be dancing in concert at 2:30
and again on Sunday at 6:00. They've got a group of friends coming down from
Maryland, VA, Indianna, and W-S to stay the weekend, so they are HAPPY.
I'm trying to get my internet presence 'advertised' and
also plan on applying for work as a CNA. Maybe between the two I can get back on
my feet. I am B.R.O.K.E. right now and I HATE it!!! I am also trying to pay Mister back for the unbelievably HARD move. He really went all out. His friends are
advising him to make things difficult for me - but, he has really shown
character by doing for me - physically and financially! That about covers it .... I think .... maybe I should post pictures?

Like the sound of that sewing room. Husband just made a beautiful sewing table for my new Viking. Alas, I've been in too much pain to enjoy it, but have hopes. Blessins.
I'm glad you're 'back'! *ba dum ching* I will have to come visit sometime soon!
Sounds like slowly bur surely things are coming together.

Why would "his friends" advise him to make things difficult... honey, are you going through a separation or divorce? If so, I feel your pain. I have been separated for over 1.5 years and hoping the divorce will be final before years end. ( I did not file, but am not unhappy about the fact that he did.)
I am so sorry.
