I found the Genuine Bamboo handles (bangles) and decided they
would be perfect for making little bags!All of these (and a few more)
are for sale on my Ebay and over at Etsy!They're perfect for socknitting
projects ... and we all know -
you can never have enough socknitting BAGS!Right?

Monday Observations ....
1. Rock salt left in vintage wood furniture ruins the finish.
2. 1 inch of cat litter makes mud when a cat pees on it.
3. Pizza boxes left on the porch attract LARGE possums at 1:00 a.m.
4. Men .... left to themselves? Don't know what to do.That's all.

each knit a pair of socks for the Afghans for Afghans
Sock Challenge.Well ... they each STARTED a pair!
Which is why I was able to get all FOUR pair
completed!!! So ...Thank you Molly ....

The challenge was issued January 27th.
They are due before March 7th.I made it!!!

Sewing Machine Dreams .....
On January 30th I made my first official Ebay Sell.
All Ebay sell proceeds go to my Sewing Machine Fund!
To replace the machine that CAUGHT FIRE -
I will need 700.00!It is a daunting goal.
But, today. 10 days into selling at Ebay?
I've got 100.59 DOLLARS! Woo Hoo!!!I'm making things to sell.
I'm finding things to sell!
And I've got some friends who are DONATING things to sell!!!
I've also got friends who are 'advertising' my goals and directing
others to my websites!I've listed a few items on the Sewing Machine Dreams website.

Not a good way to start the day
Can we say headache? Ug.I've been SIR-ing and ran into ElysGrl on the way. She's going to have a baby (or HAS had a baby by now
) and I was just being envious of it all. You know? Happy marriage, baby number 4, looking really CUTE pregnant (she had pictures). I was also reading this morning, an ezine I get and the woman was writing about being used by God."I TOLD HIM I WAS WEAK AND TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED".This I can really relate to. And the scripture she used that spoke to my heart?And so as the angel told Gideon, “Go in the strength you have.” (Judges 6:14)Pretty good stuff. Go in the strength ' i ' have. Do what ' i ' am called to do. Be content in the situation ' i ' am in. Don't envy, regret over yesterday or FRET over tomorrow.The strength I have? The contentment? The Peace? Of course they come from the Father of the heavenly lights, who gives good and perfect gifts.Even though my heart may be a little sad, my mind a little fretful - I know that my Redeemer lives! I know that today I can walk and do and be ALL He calls me to be - as long as I rely on Him. THAT is the goal. The test. The Way. Look up to Him. Yes. That's it.
